About the role
At Laboremus, we have a very advanced view on the software development cycle. As a result of this, we appreciate the importance of how we deploy our solutions and view it as a strategic part of our software development life cycle. DevOps is an exciting field at the intersection of system operations and software development.
As our Junior DevOps Engineer you will get the opportunity to work with the most advanced and cutting-edge practices in DevOps.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers, testers and consultants to deliver complex software solutions for the financial sector.
Work on projects spanning our entire stack including mobile apps, web applications, and APIs.
Implement standardised build pipelines and efficient deployments using industry leading CI/CD tools.
Utilise the latest DevOps practices and tools like containerisation, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, continuous integrations and continuous deployments, automated testing, structured logging and application performance monitoring.

You Must have :
At least 2 years of working experience in systems administration in a corporate organisation.
Passionate about task automation and robust systems infrastructure.
A university qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or any engineering field.
Experience working with private or public cloud platforms.
Demonstrated experience with developing software and the software development life cycle.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
An understanding of data networking and data storage solutions.
Good communication skills.
A passion for personal development and sharing knowledge.
It's Nice if you have:
Experience working with continuous integration and delivery tools like TeamCity and Jenkins.
Experience working with Agile and Scrum.
Experience with building tools in environments such as PowerShell or Bash.
Experience with application monitoring and logging.
General understanding of solving big problems in the fintech and financial inclusion space.
General understanding of code versioning tools like Git and SVN.
